Master Christophe BERTRAND, accompanied by Maître Guillaume TAPIE, Maître Benjamin Peyrelevade, Monsieur Antoine MARCELLAUD and Maître Thierry CHIRON as moderator, had the opportunity to discuss in particular the different forms of disciplinary powers which sanction and regulate sporting activity.
In many situations, the athlete is weakened without necessarily having knowledge of his rights and the guarantees that must be given to him.
"In this context, the lawyer can play an important role alongside the athlete, so that the procedures conducted and the decisions taken respect legal principles such as independence, impartiality or proportionality."

Maître Jean-Jacques BERTRAND will lead a practical workshop on Wednesday July 10 at 9:00 am on the theme of "Status of the sports trainer"
Maître Jean-Jacques BERTRAND, accompanied by Mr. Antoine Kombouare and José Ruiz (Syndicates of trainers of Baskets), had the opportunity to discuss in particular the sports coach status.
The term sports coach is used to bring together a multitude of functions within clubs, sometimes covering very different realities.
Based on this observation, the practical workshop will be conceived in the form of practical cases intended to evoke the diversity of existing situations and the problems, mainly legal, that may be encountered.
In this context, the workshop will deal in particular with the status of the sports coach, the nature and the breach of his contract or the provisions of the collective agreements applicable to them.
