By May 1, 2022, the effective date of this new platform, FIFA has provided for certain transitional measures :

  • The ongoing procedures (those initiated before May 1, 2022), are not affected and will be carried out according to the old system until the case is closed with the competent body.
  • For new remedies (engaged after May 1, 2022), any party wishing to lodge a complaint with the Football Tribunal or the judicial bodies of FIFA, is invited to use this new portal. If a procedure is initiated via the FIFA legal portal or one of the parties already has an account, the procedure is conducted both via the portal and by email. During this transition period, only communications by email from FIFA are considered valid and only the deadlines defined by them apply.
